Yoni (vaginal) steaming is an age-old healing method practiced by women all over the world. Its benefits include deep purification, detoxification, relaxation of the pelvic floor, feelings of rooted well-being and wholeness as you connect deeper with your womb and start to feel the fire of your sacral chakra filling your belly and rising to the heart-center.
Many women feel a much-needed sense of presence and expansion in the belly as a result of this practice. They say, “A woman is as happy as her womb is”. Unfortunately, in the culture of tight jeans and tight bellies, tampons, pain killers and chemicals, most women only connect to their “down there” in case of menstrual pain or other discomfort. It doesn’t have to be so.
As you follow physical sensations in your yoni during the steaming session, your mind empties, you descend in the most pleasant and grounding way all the way into the nourishing velvety darkness of your own Womb. Here you can be fully yourself. You don’t need to perform, to be anyone else, to meet any expectations or ideals. Nothing is required and nothing is forbidden here. This is your own sanctuary where you are the Queen. And so, during your session you will be received as such, in a setting of your own private “red tent” where you will sit comfortably over a pot of hot herb-infused water and meet yourself. I will be holding space for you, helping you descend, offering guidance and inviting deep release. We will spin, sound, breathe, sigh, shed tears of deep release and possibly burst in belly-shattering laughter. Our vagina is directly connected to our throat, and we will learn to restore their communication as well as open the pathway from the womb to the heart-centre.
